Two secondary and college level teachers, Amanda from South Korea and Heidi from Canada created a letter exchange with students to practice English Language Arts. With this exchange, students were asked to have a general discussion together learning about one another and where they live, what they like/dislike and build a friendship. Students in South Korea were able to practice English as a second language while learning about another culture. At the end of the exchange, to reinforce language and comprehension, Amanda asked her students a few questions about their pen-pal and how many times they communicated with one another.
