Do you want to bring your course content to life?
Building your own online courses can be exciting but very time consuming. Today, many teachers are building online interactive courses for their students. These interactive courses help students with remedial or independent learning. Building courses is not an easy task and as an Instructional Designer, your ideal goal is to take content and make it stand out for your learners.
I have been building courses for students and helping other organizations, including Know My World, build online content. Building content takes a lot of time and skills but there is a wonderful program out there that can really help you build the courses you need. Articulate Storyline 2 is a program you can download right to your computer to build courses for your classroom or organization. Storyline gives you access to tutorials on how to build a course and it is a very simple program to use. The picture here is a slide of a program I recently built. In this picture you can see a whiteboard with seven numbered rectangles. In the program, you can click on the number to reveal information. The entire program that I built here was of training content. My goal was to make the content interactive for students and that is exactly what Articulate Storyline 2 can do for you.
Articulate Storyline 2 is very easy to use. It is set-up similar to PowerPoint where you can work on individual slides, inserting images, transitions, videos, audio and interaction to get it to look exactly how you want it. Once the page or the entire course is complete, you can see it come to life and share it with others.
Articulate Storyline 2 is becoming more popular for teachers and organizations that are looking to build interactive and attractive online courses and curriculum. Instructional Designers like myself or anyone interested in building courses can easily use the program and makes building creative and fun.
