The first time I stepped out of my comfort zone is when I went to Japan. I was nervous about going to Japan because it was the first time I could remember going to a new country. I was nervous because everything would be new and Japan is a bigger country than Taiwan. On the plane to Japan I was a little scared because I could feel the plane going up and down while we were flying. Once we landed I felt better. We went to eat at a sushi restaurant. I tried sushi for the first time. I didn’t think I would like it but I tried it anyway. It was delicious. I even tried sea urchin which was also surprisingly good.
I saw a lot of new things like a Japanese card game. There were new people wearing thick clothes because it was cold in Japan. Also in Japan, there were lots of zoo’s and shops. All the other food was tasty. The bears were different from Taiwan. Also, the eagles in Japan were bigger than Taiwan’s eagles. My trip to Japan wound up being very fun. I am not afraid to travel anymore.
