High School students in Mexico connected with 6th graders in South Korea to create an exchange that focused on recycling.  Through this exchange students reused various items to create “Second Life” products.  The students in Mexico also hosted a campaign around their campus to bring awareness to the other students about the importance of Reducing, Reusing and Recycling.  Students in Mexico and South Korea utilized innovation and creativity to “Reuse” old products, posted flyers about their campaign and placed bins around the campus to separate recyclable materials.  Both classes enjoyed the cooperative effort and learned  from each other about the importance of recycling and taking care of our planet.  The 6th graders will continue with some extension projects throughout the year, while the high school students will work to keep their campus Green.
